Parmesan Pita Crisps

This is great recipe for a snack or even a get together.  Easy to make for one -- or make more batches and share with friends.  

Ingredients

  • Whole-wheat pita
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/8 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray
  3. Cut pita in half horizontally
  4. Cut each pita half into six wedges 
  5. Divide the wedges evenly over baking sheet
  6. Lightly coat wedges with cooking spray
  7. Sprinkle cheese and pepper evenly over wedges
  8. Bake at 350° for 11 minutes or until crisp

Pair it with some delicious homemade hummus or salsa and you are good to go!!
